Deepening learning

The next stage after Primary is Secondary or Collège, in the French system. From the 6th year of Primary or 6ème, pupils learn to organise their thinking and to analyse data in order to come up with solutions and answers by developing their own methodology.

In order to facilitate adaptation, the link between primary and secondary school, the 6ème class is part of the continuity of cycle 3.

Following the French educational system, the official French Brevet exam – DNB – is taken in 3ème and concludes the four years of “collège”.

At our school, support mechanisms such as co-intervention, tutoring and individualised planning allow each pupil to develop his or her skills and demonstrate his or her potential, taking into account each pupils specific situation.

In addition, our certification policy allows our students to take the A1 to C1 (Cambridge English), DELF (Diplôme d’Étude en Langue Française) or DALF (Diplôme d’Approfondissement en Langue Française) exams.
